Heather originally became involved in the nursing profession while in high school, through a school-to-work program, where she spent half of the day at school and the other half working in a hospital. Out of all her achievements, Heather is most proud of her current role in nursing education and making an impact on the future of nursing. She also gives back to the community through volunteer work at Metropolitan Ministries and mentoring at a local elementary school.
In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
Considering the future, she hopes to continue growing within her current position and to get even more involved in community work.
