
The American Health Council recently appointed Holly Zastudil, MSN, RN, CNP to its Board of Nurses. Currently, a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Minute Clinic — a healthcare facility located in select CVS Pharmacy and Target locations across the country. — Mrs. Zastudil practices in Columbus, Ohio where she provides high-quality care to families in a clinic setting. While she has held this role for nearly three years, she has spent eight years in the healthcare industry, expanding her skills and knowledge by caring for hospital patients as a Registered Nurse and teaching nursing students as a clinical/lab instructor at the University of Michigan.
Holding an interest in science, anatomy, and animals, Mrs. Zastudil decided to apply her interests toward her future career. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2010 and a Master’s Degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Michigan in 2014. For a few years between her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Mrs. Zastudil worked at Adena Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio on a medical-surgical unit, caring for cardiac and dialysis patients. During her time in graduate school at the University of Michigan, she served as a clinical and lab instructor to undergraduate nursing students. Following her graduation from the University of Michigan, Mrs. Zastudil started working at Minute Clinic in May of 2015. As a Minute Clinic Nurse Practitioner, she currently provides preventive, acute, and chronic care to children and adults. Mrs. Zastudil treats acute illness and manages chronic conditions such as Diabetes, HTN, and Thyroid Disorders. In addition, she provides wellness care such as health screenings, physicals, and STI testing/treatment.
Her vast medical knowledge has created several opportunities for Mrs. Zastudil throughout her career. She was chosen to participate in local, live, television segments that highlighted significant health issues such as allergy management, summer ailments, and heart health. During these segments, Mrs. Zastudil offered her professional advice as a Nurse Practitioner, ensuring that viewers received accurate and up-to-date information. She attributes her successful career to her Father and Mother whose advice that a strong work ethic will yield success has led her down that exact path.
Ms. Zastudil is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her charitable demeanor shines through in her personal endeavors as she donates to hurricane relief efforts, including the Diaper Fund and the Humane Society. She plans to continue to thrive in her career in the future by obtaining a leadership position at Minute Clinic to ensure that patients continue to receive high-quality and compassionate care.
